As a convinced European, it is a great honor for me to represent the Free State of Saxony at the European Union in Brussels.

Saxony lies at the heart of Europe, is a valuable bridge between East and West and an integral part of the free, open and ever more closely interwoven European community. Strong and self-confident regions also make Europe and its citizens strong. Especially as a border region, we in Saxony benefit from the diversity and opportunities of a united Europe.  

I look forward to presenting the Free State of Saxony in its many facets and representing its interests with the highly committed team here in Brussels.
