Events

The Representation of the Free State of Saxony to the European Union hosts and organises occasional thematic events relating to Europe and Saxony. Our Ore Mountains Christmas Market in the second half of November is an annual highlight.

According to the official regulations of the Free State of Saxony, the Saxon Representation may only host events run by Saxon institutions, with other co-operation partners if necessary. Visitor groups from Saxony are welcome; we'll be glad to explain our work to them.

 

Note about photography

During events held at the Representation, photographs are taken of individual participants or groups of participants, and may be published by the Representation and its respective event co-ordination partners as a means of informing the public. This particularly includes posting the photographs on the www.bxl.sachsen.de website, in print media (information brochures, press releases etc.) and presentations.

By attending the event, each participant declares they agree for photographs of them to be taken and used free of charge as described above. Revoked consents to this must be reported to the respective photographer/event co-ordinator at the start of the event.
